General
Compliance
FemPowered Pty Ltd (ABN 84 698 269 288) ("the Company"), together with any third-party suppliers involved in organising or delivering an event, will comply with all applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations.
Health & Wellbeing
FemPowered events are designed to support personal and professional development. Some sessions may involve reflection, discussion and coaching activities. By attending, you acknowledge that you are responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for your own physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. If you have any concerns, we encourage you to seek appropriate professional advice before attending.
Assumption of Risk
By participating in a FemPowered event, you acknowledge and accept that participation may involve certain risks, including but not limited to travel, physical activities, emotional discussions, outdoor environments or other unforeseen circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any injury, loss, damage or accident that may occur during or as a result of attending the event.
Expenses
The Company is not responsible for any expenses incurred in connection with a cancelled, postponed or rescheduled event, including (but not limited to) travel, accommodation, childcare or work-related costs.
Ticket Non-Transferability
Invitations and tickets to FemPowered events are by invitation or application only and are generally non-transferable. Tickets cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or alternative benefits unless expressly agreed in writing by the Company.
Liability
Attendees participate voluntarily and assume responsibility for their own wellbeing and participation throughout the event. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company accepts no liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, damage or injury arising from attendance at, or participation in, the event.
Confidentiality
Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for event administration, communication and related business purposes and will be managed in accordance with applicable Australian privacy legislation.
Professional Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave respectfully and professionally and to contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all participants. The Company reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any attendee whose behaviour is considered inappropriate, offensive, disruptive, unsafe or inconsistent with the values of the event. In these circumstances, no refund will be provided.
Business Entity
All FemPowered events are owned, managed and delivered by FemPowered Pty Ltd (ABN 84 698 269 288).
Payment Terms
Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment (or an approved deposit where offered). For multi-day events, your booking secures your place together with any accommodation, meals and inclusions outlined in the event information.
While every effort will be made to deliver the event as advertised, the Company reserves the right to amend speakers, facilitators, venues, agendas, activities or inclusions where reasonably necessary.
No Holds Policy
Unless expressly stated otherwise, places cannot be held without payment. Tickets cannot be reserved via phone or email without confirmed payment.
Non-Refundable Payments
All payments, including deposits, are final and non-refundable except where required under Australian Consumer Law.
Late Arrival or Early Departure
No discounts, credits or refunds will be provided for late arrival, non-attendance or early departure from any event.
Pricing & GST
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are exclusive of GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are per attendee.
Acceptance of Terms
By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions. The Company reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time, with any updated version applying to future bookings.
Cancellation & Replacement Policy
Cancellation Requests
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to:
Replacement Attendees
If you are unable to attend, you may request approval to transfer your place to a suitable replacement attendee. Requests must be made by email and are subject to approval by the Company.
If an approved replacement cannot be arranged at least seven (7) days before the event, all payments made will be forfeited.
External Bookings
The Company is not responsible for cancellations or refunds relating to independently booked services, including flights, accommodation, travel insurance or other third-party arrangements. Attendees should refer to the relevant provider's cancellation policy.
Force Majeure
If an event cannot proceed, or must be postponed or modified, due to circumstances beyond the Company's reasonable control—including but not limited to natural disasters, public health emergencies, government restrictions, civil unrest, venue issues, supplier failure or transportation disruptions—the Company reserves the right to cancel, postpone, relocate or modify the event without liability.
The Company will not be responsible for any associated costs incurred by attendees.
Photography, Media & Feedback
Photography & Marketing
The Company may photograph, film or record portions of the event for promotional, educational and archival purposes.
By attending, you consent to the use of your image, voice and likeness in future marketing materials unless you notify the Company in writing before the event.
Feedback
Any feedback provided through surveys, emails, testimonials or social media may be used by the Company for internal improvement or marketing purposes, with or without attribution, unless you request otherwise.
Intellectual Property
All materials provided before, during or after a FemPowered event—including but not limited to presentations, workbooks, templates, frameworks, activities, recordings, graphics, written content and other learning resources—remain the intellectual property of FemPowered Pty Ltd (ABN 84 698 269 288) unless otherwise stated.
These materials are provided solely for the personal use of the registered attendee. They must not be copied, reproduced, adapted, distributed, published, recorded, shared, sold or used for commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Company.
Attendees are welcome to apply the concepts, tools and learnings within their own business or professional practice. However, reproducing or delivering FemPowered's proprietary content, frameworks or training materials as your own, or for commercial gain, is strictly prohibited without written permission.
The Company reserves all intellectual property rights in its content, branding, event materials and methodologies.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the Company's liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
